“ชัยชนะของความตาย”

เทพีมอยเร (กรีก: Μοῖραι, อังกฤษ: Moirae หรือ Moerae หรือ The Fates) เป็นเทพีในตำนานเทพเจ้ากรีก เป็นเทพีสามองค์ที่เป็นบุคลาธิษฐานของพรหมลิขิต ที่เทียบเท่ากับเทพีพาร์เซ (Parcae) ในตำนานเทพเจ้าโรมัน หรือเทพีนอร์นส์ (Norns) ในในตำนานเทพเจ้าเยอรมัน

คำว่า “Μoira” ในภาษากรีก (μοῖρα) แปลตรงตัวว่าส่วนหนึ่ง ซึ่งเมื่อขยายส่วนออกไปแล้วก็เป็นชีวิตหรือพรหมลิขิต เทพีมอยเรควบคุมยานด้ายแห่งโชคชะตาของชีวิตของมนุษย์เดินดินทุกคนตั้งแต่เกิดจนตาย
