ภาษาโครกูรยอ หรือ Koguryoan เป็นภาษาของอาณาจักรโคกูรยอ (37 ปีก่อน ค.ศ. – ค.ศ. 668) หนึ่งในสามราชอาณาจักรเกาหลี. ประวัติศาสตร์จีนตอนต้นระบุว่าภาษานี้มีความคล้ายกับพูยอ, Okjeo และเย Lee Ki-Moon จัดสี่ภาษานี้เข้าในภาษากลุ่มพูยอ เรื่องราวทางประวัติศาสตร์ยังระบุอีกว่าภาษาเหล่านี้มีความแตกต่างจากภาษาของชาว Yilou และ Mohe ภาษาทั้งหมดยังไม่มีรับรอง ยกเว้นโคกูรยอที่มีหลักฐานจำกัดและมีข้อโต้แย้ง

หลักฐานอ้างอิงส่วนใหญ่คือชื่อสถานที่ใน Samguk sagi นักวิจัยส่วนใหญ่ในเกาหลี สันนิษฐานว่าชาวโคกูรยอพูดภาษาย่อยของภาษาเกาหลีเก่า โดยถือว่าเป็นคำเดียวกันกับภาษาเกาหลี ในขณะที่นักวิชาการบางส่วนเน้นความคล้ายกับตระกูลภาษาญี่ปุ่น Lee และ Ramsey กล่าวแนะว่าภาษานี้อยู่ตรงกลางระหว่างสองตระกูล นักเขียนบางส่วนกล่าวแนะว่าชื่อสถานที่เหล่านี้สะท้อนถึงภาษาของชนกลุ่มนี้ในเกาหลีตอนกลางที่โคกูรยอยึดได้ในคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 5 แทนที่จะมาจากโคกูรยอเอง

ส่วนอีกหลักฐานหนึ่งนั้นน้อยมาก และจำกัดเฉพาะลักษณะเฉพาะในจารึกโคกูรยอภาษาจีน และศัพท์โคกูรยอเพียงไม่กี่คำที่ปรากฎในตำราภาษาจีน Vovin และ Unger กล่าวแนะว่าภาษานี้เป็นรูปเดิมของตระกูลภาษาเกาหลี ซึ่งต่อมาได้เข้ามาแทนที่ตระกูลภาษาญี่ปุ่นทางตอนใต้ของคาบสมุทร บางส่วนระบุเป็นกลุ่มภาษาตุงกูซิก หรือมีหลักฐานไม่เพียงพอที่จะระบุความเกี่ยวข้องได้
